Director, Editor & Choreographer

Rianne White is a lass who built a career as a film director over the last decade. She grew up in Edinburgh and trained as a choreographer in Falmouth, where she taught herself filmmaking through the lens of physicality, and how the body and movement enable a transformative perspective into cinema. From research trips to Hawaii to an artist residency in Iceland, and working with international crews, the experience continues to shape and inspire her work.

As Director her portfolio includes work with artists such as Ellie Goulding, Young Fathers, Aurora, Lola Young, Kae Tempest, Franz Ferdinand, Black Country, New Road and The Proclaimers, and her films have been showcased at festivals around the world; including Raindance Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, Cleveland International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival and Manchester International Film Festival. During this time, she also choreographed for the TV series Outlander and the short film Nevada by Ruth Paxton, which was commissioned by the Royal Philharmonic Society alongside her own practice.

Rianne has collaborated on impactful projects, including the nationwide campaign United to Prevent Suicide and the commissioned short film "Sugar For Your Tea" with Kayus Bankole, as part of Underbelly’s "Message From The Skies." She has expanded her creative horizons by collaborating with Hugo Boss on global fashion campaigns, including HUGO x Bella Poarch and HUGO x F1, delving into the world of fashion.
